Key Treatments to Offer Your Customers
Cryotherapy Chambers
Cryotherapy, which means cold therapy is where your body is exposed to very cold temperatures. Ranging from -85°C to -180°C, with the most effective temperatures being around -110°C to -130°C for 2 to 3 minutes.
Though a very quick treatment, the effect on the body is absolutely incredible for your customers! Extreme cold therapy will stimulate your customers physiological processes in their entire body. It’s effectively like a system reboot of your body, as the body scans itself for underperforming bodily functions and repairs itself rapidly.
A cryotherapy chamber is an incredible supporting therapy for improving your clients chronic pain and inflammation, in addition to their wellbeing, depression, sleep, sports injuries, and sports recovery.
Also, cryotherapy after an operation is popular as it accelerates your clients healing process and improves any pain they may have, without high levels of medication and the accompanying side effects!
Professional athletes recover faster and perform at higher levels when cryotherapy is applied. Plus, it’s great for looking amazing as it improves the skins tone, skin’s texture and tightens the skin.
Ozone Saunas
A lot of people don’t even know this powerful modality even exists! Which means from the very get go, this puts you at an amazing competitive advantage over your competition by offering an ozone sauna.
Though normal Finish saunas are amazing, and we personally have them daily (as not got an ozone sauna at home YET!), the ozone sauna is another level again and really enhances the benefits of a sauna by introducing ozone into your environment. Think of a typical steam room but this time, supercharged with ozone!
Using steam as the delivery method with the powerful and almost magical ingredient of ozone. Ozone is 100% natural and it’s in fact found in the earth atmosphere to protect us against the sun’s harmful rays, you can think of it as natures natural defence for you.
Ozone is simply three oxygen (O3) molecules instead of two, think three for the price of two! Its naturally present within every living organism, including you and key in today’s modern toxic ridden world, free of chemicals, which is a nice change!
Ozone will oxygenate your clients body via their blood, cells and tissues. It therefore increases the health of your cells, while also helping simultaneously to destroy faulty or senescent cells, plus bacteria, viruses and fungi within your body. Benefits include:
Detoxification – Ozone supports your body’s detoxification processes by enhancing the elimination of toxins through the skin.
Immune System Support – Ozone stimulates your immune system, boosting your body’s ability to fight off infections.
Improved Circulation – The combination of sauna heat and ozone enhances your blood circulation, promoting better oxygenation of tissues.
HBOT Chambers
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment that enhances your customers natural healing process by delivering oxygen under pressure, increasing the oxygen content in your blood and flooding your tissues with oxygen.
HBOT consists of two key aspects, increased pressure and increased purity of oxygen. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a combination drug which consists of the independent actions of increased pressure, and the increased levels of oxygen and in turn, plus the combined effects of both.
Where this gets really interesting for you and your clients, is that a single HBOT session will turn on and off as many as 8,101 of your genes within just one day in the cells that line all of your blood vessels. So not one or two genes are improved but over 8,000 genes! Furthermore the genes turned on are those which tell your body to grow and to repair hormones, plus the anti-inflammatory genes.
It doesn’t just stop there either as the turned off genes are the pro-inflammatory genes, those that code for cell death.
Due to the two variable factors with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, it’s been found that different pressures turn on different and overlapping sets of genes. While different levels of oxygen also turn on different and overlapping sets of genes. Oxygen was mainly responsible for turning on the (good) genes and pressure for turning off the (bad) genes.
Red Light Therapy Beds
Red light is just that, a red light. Sounds a bit too good to be true! It’s quite literally taking the best parts of sunlight and condensing them into two of the best wavelengths that heal and energise us humans.
The key aspect of this type of light, is its wavelength or nanometres (NM). Red light is from 630 nm to 660 nm. Our red light therapy beds use 660 nm.
Plus the other key light that goes hand in hand with red light therapy, being near infrared light, this you can’t see it, but it is very much there, operating at nanometres of 810 to 850 nm. Near infrared light or NIR for short operates on the invisible spectrum of light. Our red light therapy beds use 850 nm.
You may have heard of red light therapy before however its often also called photo biomodulation (PBM) and less so today, low-level light therapy (LLLT). However with LLLT it’s actually a laser not red LED lights, so delivered slightly different but the same end product i.e. red light!
Just because you might not have heard of red light therapy, do not underestimate the level of research that has gone into it, as its off the charts! So much research has been done on the subject that there are over ten thousand research papers, yes 10,000 plus on just this one topic alone.
